Our (HSE) Policy

According to the World Corrosion Organisation, the estimated direct cost of corrosion worldwide is around USD 2.2 trillion a year. Applying the currently available corrosion control technology could save the world’s economies up to USD 360 billion a year. Hence, PPL has launched the most comprehensive range of environmental choice products that comply with rigorous standards set down by an independent auditing body.

All our decorative products are lead-free, and we are committed to developing sustainable solutions without compromising on quality and performance. Our heat-reflecting exterior coatings reduce the energy consumed by air conditioning units by an average of 5 per cent

Policy Objectives

The policy objectives in the fields of health, safety, and environment concern all sites, and also concern the subcontractors at the sites. The corporate management mainly uses communication as coaching method. The board of management sets and implements the HSE policy. Line managers are responsible for the HSE implementation on site and individual employees are explicitly evaluated on their environmental performance.

Today, most of the PPL’s product range bears the environmental Choice logo and our packaging recovery program, launched in 2023, enables customers to return unwanted paint or product leftovers for recycling, reuse, and recovery. We are also committed to implementing the United Nations’ Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights’.
